Saturdays Racing
With the show under way, it was time to get down to some sand
flying Monster Truck action.
All of the monster trucks had to qualify first, to see who they
would go up against.
Qualifying
Sudden Impact qualifying
The first person to qualify & break the track in, was John Seasock,
in the Sudden Impact truck.
Predator qualifying
Fastest to qualify was Gary Porter in the Carolina Crusher truck,
with a time of 5.52 seconds.
BIGFOOT also had a good qualifying run. Click here

1st Round
With the pairings set, first round action saw BIGFOOT take on Sudden
Impact. In a very close race BIGFOOT, just managed to take the win.
Next up, saw Predator take on Black Stallion. Predator took the
win.

Next up was Liquidator V's Eradicator.
Eradicator
Bob Fisher in the Liquidator took the win over the Eradicator. (This
same jump was photographed by Sports Illustrated, & apperars in the
June 28th edition)
Carolina Crusher then went up against the Rap Attack truck &
won, as David Rapach had problems with his truck.
Grudge Match
Those trucks that went out in the first round, where then given a
chance to go up against the other trucks, who had also gone out.
Andy Slifko in the Eradicator truck, went up against team mate &
partner, John Seasock in Sudden Impact.
Eradicator was the clear cut winner, as he made his team mate eat
sand !!
Next up was Rap Attack against Black Stallion, with the Stallion
taking the win.

Semi Finals
Semi final action saw Eric Tack in BIGFOOT 15, up against Alan Pezo
in his Predator truck. Predator took the win.
Carolina Crusher went up against the Liquidator truck, taking the
win.

After the semi -finals, the next Monster Truck action was the freestyle,
which you can see pictures of, by following the link at the bottom of the
page.
Finals
For the first finals of the weekend, it was the Carolina Crusher
truck, up against the Predator truck.
Carolina Crusher narrowly beating Predator
Gary Porter took the win in the yellow & red colored Chevrolet.
Making him the first winner at the Thunder on the Beach 1999.
