We checked out of our motel room & took our bags to the trailer first thing in the morning. With the racing in the mid afternoon & the temperature in the 100's, the bottles of water that we had bought the day before, came in handy.
John hadn't really done much damage to his truck the night before,
so had an easy morning.
I gave the truck it's last wash of the weekend & with the show
starting at 2:30pm, it wasn't long before John & the other drivers
had to move their trucks up into the infield.
John gassed up the shocks, checked over the truck to make sure everything was all right & got into his fire suit.
Once again, John let me ride in the cab with him, as we drove up into the infield.
The drivers signed autographs before the racing started. They all looked very hot in their fire suits, which they had to keep on the whole time, during the show.

Dan Patrick managed to find some shade in one of the work vehicles parked next to the track, between racing.
After the racing, John did some freestyle car crushing for the fans.
Unfortunately on the second time he launched the Sudden Impact truck
over the car at the side of the track, which was there for freestyle, the
truck shot up way into the air, & came crashing down.

He broke both the front & back sway bars, two bump stops, part of the body & one of the shock absorbers.

As John was the last truck to do freestyle, the show then came to an
end. The drivers signed autographs for a while, & the ride truck carried
on giving rides.
I got Andy Hoffman's pick-up truck & helped John take
back his broken parts to his trailer.
Before the racing started myself & John had already got the trailer cleaned up & put the small transport tires next to the trailer, ready for when we took the big tires off. That way we could get the truck loaded up & get on our way back to Pennsylvania straight away.
After loading up the truck, & helping the other teams load their
tires into their trailers, John went to the Special Event officials to
get his pay check & collect his unsold pictures of his truck.
We got freshened up & left the Ozark Empire Fairground's at
about 7pm. Andy Hoffman, decided he was going to stop another night &
set off first thing in the morning, as did Mac & Liz with the Overkill
ride truck. The other Monster Truck teams had already left.
We then had a long journey ahead of us again.
