Truxpo Truck TourProfessional Monster Trucks

Saturday evening saw the stands full up in front of the Monster Truck & Tough truck course.
With the earlier qualifying determining which trucks would go up against each other, the Monster Truck drivers would push their trucks to the limits, to try & make it through to the next round to increase their points, in theProMT points standings.
With lots of clouds in the sky & the chance of rain, the sun would occasionally appear from behind the clouds to light up the track.

The first race which was Race #4 in the ProMT Truxpo Truck Tour would see Dan Runte in BIGFOOT up against Andy Slifko in Eradicator.  The Eradicator truck was actually the lightest truck of all the Monster Trucks, racing that weekend.
Slifko had a good start beating BIGFOOT off the lights, but underpowered, BIGFOOT took the win.

Next up was Sudden Impact against Virginia Giant.  John Seasock had a good start in Sudden Impact & even though Virginia Giant ran a hard race, he was unable to catch up & Sudden Impact took the win. Virginia Giant's time did put him through to the second round as the 2nd fastest loser.

Both Tim & Mark Hall would go up against each other in the Executioner & Tropical Thunder trucks. Unfourtnatly Tropical Thunder was having mechanical problems & was unable to race. This gave Executioner an easy pass, putting him through to the next round.

Next was Randy Brown in Pure Adrenalin, who had only just got his MTRA Class A licence, making this his first ProMT points race. He would go up against Steve Macklyn in Nitro Fish. Steve had problems with the truck & didn't make it to the start line in time, but Tim Hall had managed to get Tropical Thunder working, so went up against him instead. Rookie driver Randy Brown, showed his driving skills in Pure Adrenalin & took the win.
