TRUCK NAME: Shuttle
MAKE : 1990 Ford Aerostar (Originally built in 1985)
OWNER/DRIVER: Bob & Maryiln Chandler
TOWN/CITY: St Louis, MO
ENGINE SIZE: Stock 3 Litre V6 Ford, with electronic fuel injection
INFORMATION: The BIGFOOT Shuttle rides on 48" tires, & inside,
it still has the regular Ford Aerostar interior.
The truck is on display outside the Home of BIGFOOT, parked next
to BIGFOOT 5.
The truck was first seen on the TV show "Return of the Monster Trucks",
in which Bob Chandler, with commentator, Steve Evans, took the truck over
the course, in which the Monster trucks would be racing. He however didn't
take it through the mud pit.
The truck was originally campaigned in its original Ford brown,
paint job. It has made a number of appearances at show, doing hill
climbs, pulling sleds & crushing cars.
It is also used to train get new drivers used to using, front &
rear steering simultaneously.
