BIGFOOT
8

TRUCK NAME: BIGFOOT 8

BIGFOOT 8 Snakebite

MAKE  F-250 Ford Pickup, (built in 1989)

OWNER: Bob Chandler

DRIVER: Dave Harkey & Gene Patterson

TOWN/CITY: St Louis, MO

ENGINE SIZE: 572cubic inch Ford

INFORMATION: BIGFOOT 8 was the first computer designed monster truck. With over six months of computer work put in, this truck was the truck which bought all of the trucks into the 90's.
It has a tubular frame & chassis & and a full fibreglass body.
When the truck first competed in the 1990 TNT Supernationals, driven by Andy Brass, the truck was deemed s too good. As it was so technically advanced compared to the other monster trucks in the competition, the TNT officials decided that the truck would have to sit out for two months, to allow for other monster truck drivers to catch up.
When the BIGFOOT 8 truck came back, the other drivers had upgraded their trucks, making it a fair contest. The BIGFOOT 8 truck still won the 1990 TNT Supernationals, only just though, as the Equalizer truck was hot on his heels.
In 1992 the BIGFOOT 8 truck entered the Penda Points Series Championship as the Snakebite truck. It came in second.
In 1993 the truck entered again as the Snakebite truck, & came in fourth.
The truck, like the other BIGFOOT trucks, often sports a different body, depending on the show. The truck was also a WCW Wrestle truck, for a period of time. The truck currently has a Ford F-350 Superduty body.
