Saturday saw head to head racing, with both Challenge & Championship trucks. The racing got under way in the early afternoon, with round one of the Challenge trucks. The afternoon also saw sled pulling, ruf trux & sand dragsters. Sam Marino in the Raptor truck, also bought his truck out, on to the track, & took it over the monster truck course, to promote the new tire class he is promoting.

The late afternoon, early evening saw the monster trucks out racing
again. With the stands opposite the monster truck course full up, the crowd
really got into the racing spirit. They spent alot of their time on their
feet, especially with so many close races. Fans waited in anticipation
to here the results of races, when it wasn't clear who won, turning to
the person next to them to ask who they thought had won. For some it was disappointment
to hear that their favourite truck had gone out of that days racing. For
others it was relief.
The two crowd favourite trucks, Grave
Digger & Carolina Crusher, both did some freestyle car crushing before
the nights finals. Gary Porter of the Carolina Crusher truck took great
pleasure in driving over all of the sponsor banners, in the middle of the
track. Also Sam Marino bought his truck back out on to the track earlier on that evening.
This time he drove over the ruff trux course, but as he went over
the second jump, landing on the concrete, he broke part of his front axle. But with a bit of welding in the pits he soon had it repaired.

The Liquidator truck driven by Bob Fisher took the first win, for the challenge trucks. Because of Snakebite's crash on the friday, the Liquidator truck was moved up to the Championships class, for sundays racing. The Little Tiger truck was also showing some good potential.

Bear Foot driven by Fred Shafer took the second days win in the Championship truck class. Tom Meents took the Monster Patrol truck to the finals, yet again, showing a combination of driving skills & truck performance at it's peak.
