Friday evening saw the first installment of the side by side Monster Truck Racing. The Special Events staff had constructed a S shape course, to test both the truck & drivers ability to control their powerful machines.
Watching the truck race also made it hard to know who was winning, as the bends would put one truck ahead at the first corner, but then the other truck would catch up on the next corner, with that truck having the inside line. So it all came down to the last straight, to determine the winner. Nitro Fish didn't race on the Friday & was just on display that day.
Black Stallion took the win after Snakebite messed up on the last
turn, by turning to hard which cause the truck too skid out.
Next up was Rick Petroline in the Firestone Centennial BIGFOOT,
taking the win against Mark Hall in the Executioner.
The next race saw Eric Tack in the Tonka Team BIGFOOT truck, go up against local favorite Andy Slifko, in the Eradicator.

The Tonka truck took the win. Andy Slifko had only finished putting a new engine in the truck in the early hours of that morning, back at his nearby shop. Andy had blown the engine onlya few days prior to the show. He had wanted to put a bigger motor in, but that one wasn't ready in time, so he had to use a smaller powered one.
Next up was John Seasock, in his Sudden Impact truck. This was the first time for him at Bloomsburg with his new truck, so John was wanting to make a big impact on the crowd. And that he did, when he went up against Dan Runte in the ChromaLusion BIGFOOT.

In a very close race, John showed his driving ability & the power of his new truck, by taking the win against BIGFOOT, much to the appreciation of the crowd.
